Succeed in Radio

Radio is a fantastic way to express yourself. This practical hands-on course teaches you how to record and edit your own voice together with music and sound effects.

During the course you will also learn about radio journalism, which includes reporting and interviewing techniques on location and in the studio for those all-important sound bites.

radio production day course

Brush up on those all-important presenting skills by producing a chat or music show dedicated to an audience of your choice. You will learn how to take calls live on air and then edit them to be inserted into your radio show. Your Tutor on this course is Duncan Wilson. Duncan is a professional radio presenter, with a vast range of production skills, and industry experience! Starting professionally at the ripe young age of 22, on SBN?s breakfast show, Duncan completed his Media Technology degree at the same time. Work on Danny Baker?s breakfast show at BBC London 94.9 soon followed by Maidstone?s CTR 105.6, where he can currently be heard at weekends. He occasionally pops up playing various characters on Neil Grayson?s breakfast show on Ten 17 FM also on BBC Radio

If you are interested in comedy, drama, news, sport or entertainment then this course is a great way to break into radio broadcasting. Students who have taken this course have gone on to work in both BBC and commercial radio.
